Amazing Me - RSVP

Due to COVID-19 the ‘Amazing Me’ evening program will take place online.

‘Amazing Me’ specialises in providing primary aged children, parents, and educators with positive and empowering information. ‘Amazing Me’ presents programs to children and adults every year and has done so for over 25 years.

The presenter, Rowena Thomas, is a trained primary school teacher and her strengths lie in facilitating an informative program that aims to strengthen family relationships. For further information you can visit www.amazingme.com.au

Session 1 – Parents ONLY

There will be a session offered for parents to introduce you to Rowena.
How to talk to your child about sex? This program explores some of the challenges that parents and carers face when raising children today and how to approach this topic. The content of the parent and child program will also be discussed.

Session 2 – Parents AND student event: ‘BODIES, BABIES AND PUBERTY’  

Topics for this program include: The reproductive organs and their correct names, with a brief focus on child protection, reproduction and birth. What is puberty? Why do we need to go through puberty? When does it start? How long does it take? The changes both physical, social and emotional that can be expected.
